I am a lifelong explorer who is redefining my sunset years by trading a stressful and sedentary life as a construction litigation attorney and mediator for the freedom of the open road. Navigating the vast landscapes of North America in my custom-built Mercedes Sprinter van, I chronicle the quiet beauty of solo travel and the strength found in nomadic living. My mission is to share my adventures and inspire others to pursue their leisure time or retirement years with enthusiasm and a sense of wonder.

Choosing a builder wasn't just about technical skill; it was about finding someone who understood the philosophy of the road. I interviewed multiple custom upfitters before meeting the team at Dicot Designs who truly shared my vision for a highly functional van. Together, we mapped out a layout that prioritized natural light, durable utility, and the comforts of home. The process involved a visit to Dicot Designs in Boulder, countless texts, emails, telephone calls and video conferences. The end result exceeded my expectations!
